Corruption / Abuse of Power / Police Report Refusal

Corruption and abuse of power is perhaps the most evil of all crimes. When the very people responsible for protecting or serving the public become corrupted and victimize the very people they serve, someone must stand up against them. SIA is willing and capable of doing just that. If you know of any incidents of corruption, or abuse of power, report it now!

SIA is currently investigating under-reporting schemes in which police departments are refusing to file police reports when requested to do so. In addition, police have been refusing to process an individual that has been placed under arrest. If you have been the victim of this scheme, please report it now!

Signs of Nursing Home Abuse
There are certain warning signs that can indicate nursing home abuse has and/or still is occurring. Some residents are hesitant to disclose instances of nursing home abuse out of fear that the abuse will get worse or because they do not want to burden their families. Some residents may not even be able to communicate that nursing home abuse is occurring due to physical or mental limitations.
